Fakemon: Furneo

made a list of little Eeveelutions, and I took one, then 'upgraded' it, so to speak. Hope you like Furneo, since I have a nasty habit of wanting to name every Fakemon that I make (or redesign).

Its pelt is so hot that it's often curled up in a fireplace and provided the heat for cooking pots. It has an interesting temperament, and is terrific with children.

*Fun Fact*: The secret behind Furneo's transformation from its predecessor, Flareon, is rumored to have been due to a natural disaster. Legends say that this elusive, rare Fire-type had been born when a Flareon had been engulfed in the searing hot fires of a volcano after losing its footing and tumbling into the magma that churned deep within it. Instead of being burnt to a crisp, it absorbed the heat instead, and as a result, evolved to adapt and contain its newly-found powers. The success rate of this evolution is rather slim, since the transformation can only occur whilst the Flareon is fighting another Fire-type and defeats it while being dangerously-close to fainting. It also has to have been hit by a ranged Fire attack, or have to have made a physical blow at its foe (whether it being a Fire-type move or not).
