Fakemon: Pagee

Description

Pagee is a Steel-type Fakemon and is the form prior to <Squiro>.

Description: Because of its docile nature, people can get close to it without frightening it. When it is threatened, it immediately becomes defensive and emits a high-pitched shriek to disorient the foe before attacking with its skull.

Nature: Pagee is a Brave Fakemon that will immediately defend itself seconds after birth in a dark cave. In its stages of growth, the baby will look after its mother and huddle protectively in clusters around it. It has been known to wander off, exploring the lengths of the cave for various periods of time before returning to check on the parent. It loves to play when the moon is up and the stars are out.

Attack Pattern: It isn't very well known for attacking other creatures other than out of defense, but if its parent or siblings are threatened, it will attack fiercely with a charge, lowering its head to headbutt with the protective coating of armor on its forehead. Pagee has learned to kick violently with all four feet (sometimes simultaneously), and will even run to gain momentum before unleashing a Rollout upon its enemy. Its beak is wickedly sharp, and it has no problem using it to further discourage its foe.

Physique: When born, Pagee is the size of a large cat, and can grow to become larger on the day of its birth. Because its tail is very short and stubby, Pagee learns to walk on all four feet(the front two with a small spike on the back of the paws), giving it a tremendous advantage of running and traveling, but cuts reaching above its head greatly. It has large ears that give it sensitive hearing, and wears a small metal plate upon its forehead. Its beak is small but sharp, and can peck through solid rock. Upon its broad shoulders are two metal plates that can cause blows to glance off, and an orange gem is embedded in its chest. Its shoulder blades have two small stubs and, unlike <Squiro>, its entire body is covered in sky-blue scales with the exception of the yellow scales on its chest and belly. Its eyes are orange and large, capable of seeing ten times better in the dark than in the daylight.

It is built for sprinting over short distances and hiking through the dark innards of the caves. The only time it ever emerges is when it migrates with its brethren through the mountains to the ocean for the winter season.

Rarity: Because of its nature, many are found in patches of grass at dusk or in the depths of a cave, though it can vanish for a time if one tries to catch it and fails.

Habitat: Raised in caves, you wouldn't expect any less than to find a Pagee inside one. It thrives in the dark and silence, feeding off the rock that grows within it.

Call: "Pa-geeeee!!!" (pay-gee) <-- [pronunciation]

Catch-Rate: Since it can't take intense training at this stage, it can prove difficult to find a way to inhibit Pagee. The best possible solution is to weaken it enough and catch it while it's either Sleeping or Paralyzed.

Weakness: Because of its type, Pagee is purposely raised in a damp, dark environment, away from Fire-types. No one knows why the parent is extremely protective of it when it comes to Fire-types, but scientists believe it may have something to do with a 'less-than-friendly' encounter between Pagee's final evolution and a certain Fire-type.

Starting Moves: If you catch one, it can have these moves, as follows--

Metal Sound
Leer
Tackle
Defense Curl
Double Kick

Pagee is Stage 1, as it's next evolution is <Squiro>.
